My main backpack arrived today from Depop and I am so excited!!!!! I leave in one week and finally having my bags makes my upcoming adventures feel so real.
Here is what I’m bringing in each bag after extensive YouTube “research” on packing efficiently 🙂
20L Backpack
Technology/Hobby: portable charger, phone charger, travel adapter, camera and charger, phone holder, phone lanyard, journal, pens
First Aid/Meds: Advil, Dramamine, Tums, Nasal Spray (for plane pressure), eye drops, Neosporin, Band-Aids
Safety: padlock with wire, zipper clips, zipper padlocks
Other: contacts, granola bars, electrolyte packets, sunglasses, AirTag, carabiner, water bottle, sunglasses, backpack rain cover, Baggu tote bag
42L Backpack
Clothes: 1 skirt, 2 pants, 2 sweaters, 1 button down, 3 t-shirts, 1 long sleeve, 1 graphic tee, 1 sleep dress, 4 tank tops, 1 rain jacket, 2 bras, 6 socks, 8 underwear
Laundry: detergent sheets, wrinkle spray, bed bug spray, tide stick, mini lint roller, laundry bag, travel clothesline
Other: 2 microfiber towels, 1 face towel, 1 swimsuit, laptop & charger, shower shoes, 1 hat, mini hair straightener

Inside of Neck Pillow
Active Gear: 2 leggings, 2 biker shorts, 1 thermal shirt, 2 sports bras

This is a genius hack I found online. I bought an empty neck pillow from Amazon for $10.
Airport Outfit

the sudoku packing method
This trick I found on Instagram helped me pack lightly! You choose 3 tops, 3 bottoms, and 3 layering pieces and lay them out in the order displayed above. Now with one photo you can choose outfits horizontally, vertically, one diagonal, and in triangles without having to try on a ton of clothes. I believe it can make 27 outfits in total!
I might make some small changes before I leave on Monday, March 2, but everything fits in my bags nicely without jamming them full so I am feeling good.
